Samos Housing is a family-run real estate agency and construction company on Samos. We are based in Samos Town, and the firm was founded in 2008 by civil engineers Ioannis (Giannis) Paleokastritis and Christos Paleokastritis. We help local owners and overseas buyers find, build, renovate and legally protect property on Samos. In other words, we take you from a first plot of land to a finished, registered villa.
Since 2008 we have completed hundreds of transactions. As a result, overseas buyers and Greek inheritors turn to us when a project has to be done properly. That means licensed engineers, transparent paperwork and bilingual communication. Above all, it means a single accountable point of contact from the first conversation to key handover.
Our Story
Samos Housing began in 2008 as a small civil-engineering office in Samos Town. At first we worked on construction permits, surveys and renovations for local clients. Then more overseas buyers started asking for someone they could trust with the Greek property market. They came from the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Scandinavia and beyond. Consequently, the engineering practice grew into a full real-estate and construction firm.
Today we run two integrated practices under one roof. The first is a licensed real-estate agency with a curated portfolio of vetted properties across the island. The second is an in-house civil engineering studio for design, permits, valuations, surveys and αυθαίρετο regularisation. Most of our clients use both. That is the point: one team and one accountability line, from the first viewing to the day you turn the key.

Civil engineer with over 20 years of experience in construction, property valuation and real-estate brokerage on Samos. He is TEE-registered and a Ministry of Finance certified property valuer (PeopleCert-certified, TEGOVA- and RICS-compliant). Therefore, his reports meet the requirements of Greek banks and authorities. He is also licensed by the Greek Ministry of Development as a real-estate agent. Day to day, he is the contact for most of our overseas clients.
Christos Paleokastritis
Co-Founder · Construction & Operations
Christos co-founded Samos Housing in 2008 and runs construction operations on the ground. He supervises sites, coordinates trades and manages material supply across the island. Since 2008 he has delivered villas, renovations and restoration projects all over Samos.
