Mitilinioi

Mitilinioi is one of the largest inland villages of Samos, set between Vathi and Pythagorio with quick access to both and to the airport. It is a village that lives all year, with its own square, shops and the Natural History Museum built around the fossil finds of the area. The stock is mainly stone village houses for restoration, family homes with courtyards, and agricultural land on the surrounding slopes. Older houses here frequently pre-date 1955 or carry additions that were never recorded — the permit file and the as-built plans decide the real cost of a restoration, so we check both first.
