Chora

Chora is an inland village a few kilometres north of Pythagorio and was the administrative seat of Samos before Vathi took over. It keeps the character of a working Samian village — a large square, old stone houses, olive and vine land around it — while sitting ten minutes from the airport and the south-coast beaches. This combination is why Chora attracts buyers who want land: buildable plots outside the settlement boundary are more available here than on the coast.
